The masculine and the feminine: a difference in perception

It so happens that the interaction and struggle of opposites is one of the foundations of our world.

The well-known yin-yang symbol visualizes this interaction quite clearly. There is always some white in black, and vice versa.

It is the same with the two halves of humankind. The interaction between men and women has never been simple and has often taken the form of struggle. However, our society would not exist without it.

Therefore, it is worth taking a closer look at this interaction.

One of the teachings about the deeper nature of reality, quite widespread in the world, especially in South America, claims that there is a fundamental difference between men and women, or more precisely between the masculine and feminine principles.

And let no one be offended - men and women are equally important to the world. They are simply different. And this difference is expressed, among other things, in the perception of their own value.

The Toltecs - that is what the representatives of this teaching are called - claim that the foundation of femininity is unconditional value. In other words, women are valuable not for something, but simply because they exist. And a woman can only feel complete when she realizes this unconditional value within herself.

As for men, within this worldview their value is more often associated with expressed qualities and actions. Men are perceived through what they do, how they act, and how they manifest themselves in the world.

According to this perspective, the foundation of the masculine principle is direct cognition.

That is why boys like to take things apart. In this way, they express their deeper nature.

Girls, in turn, often express their nature through attention, interaction, and relationships with others.
