One of the most effective and scientifically proven methods of prevention is tooth fluoridation, also known as fluoridation or remineralization therapy. This completely painless procedure involves applying professional fluoride-containing compounds to previously cleaned and dried teeth. The purpose of the procedure is to strengthen the enamel, increase its resistance to acids, and protect the teeth from cariogenic bacteria as much as possible.
