Dental prosthetics - restoring functionality and aesthetics
Dental prosthetics is one of the most rapidly developing areas of modern dentistry. With the help of this procedure, you can improve the aesthetics and completely restore the functionality of your teeth, whether you have a single damaged tooth or complete edentulism (absence of all teeth).
The orthodontists at Club 32, a family dental clinic in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, have a portfolio of many successful cases of turnkey dental prosthetics for patients of all ages.
We take an individual approach to prosthetics, developing a unique treatment plan for each patient that allows us to install dental prostheses that take into account their specific characteristics and wishes at an affordable price.
As a result, you get an affordable price for treatment, long-lasting results, and maximum comfort during all dental procedures. In addition, you can pay for prosthetics in installments and without overpaying.
It is important to understand that the absence of even one tooth can lead to overload of adjacent teeth, bone tissue atrophy, and malocclusion. Therefore, restoring the dentition with prosthetics is not just a matter of caring for the appearance of your smile, but a necessary measure to maintain the health of the entire oral cavity and the body as a whole.
Our clinic offers all types of prosthetics, from the latest technologies for installing prostheses on implants using surgical templates to removable and clasp prostheses familiar to the older generation.
We also offer elderly patients the opportunity to significantly improve their quality of life by installing removable dentures on implants that they are accustomed to. This type of attachment will ensure reliable fixation and make the dentures more convenient and comfortable for everyday use.
Types of prosthetics
Dental prosthetics have always been in demand, and their varieties have evolved along with the development of dental science.
Today, there are the following types of dental prostheses:
- removable
- non-removable,
- conditionally removable (including jaw prostheses on All-on-4 and All-on-6 implants)
- clasp
- bridge
- crowns (prostheses supported by the patient's own root)
- crowns on implants
Our doctors use dentures made from all materials available today:
- metal-ceramic
- metal-free ceramics (E-max),
- zirconium,
- acrylic
- and others
The final price for dental prosthetics in Kyiv and throughout Ukraine depends on the chosen prosthetics method, the type of prosthesis, the materials used for the prosthesis and crown, as well as the complexity of the clinical situation.
We will provide you with the type of dental prosthesis that best solves three tasks at once:
- eliminate the clinical problem
- improve the aesthetics of the dentition
- fit within your budget
Indications and contraindications for dental prosthesis installation
Indications:
- absence of one or more teeth,
- inability to restore teeth by other means
- the patient's desire to improve the appearance of their smile
Contraindications:

- General contraindications to surgical intervention (for implant prosthetics)
Our doctors will determine during the consultation whether prosthetics are possible right now. If additional medical procedures are required before installing the prosthesis, we will prepare and offer you the optimal treatment plan.

Stages of prosthetics
Initial consultation
What happens:
- The doctor examines the oral cavity, assesses the bite, the condition of the gums and remaining teeth
- The patient's complaints, preferences, and expectations are discussed
- A panoramic X-ray is taken, possibly a CT scan
Purpose: to draw up a preliminary treatment plan and determine the type of prosthesis (removable/non-removable, implant-supported or not)
Preparation of the oral cavity
This may include:
- Treatment of caries, inflammation, gum disease
- Removal of hopeless teeth
- If necessary, sanitation, professional hygiene, bone grafting (for implant prosthetics)
Goal: to create a healthy and stable foundation for the future prosthesis
Taking impressions or 3D scanning of the jaws and making a temporary prosthesis
What happens:
- Anatomical impressions (silicone, alginate) are taken or the jaw is scanned
- The impressions or 3D scan are sent to the laboratory for model fabrication
- If necessary, a temporary prosthesis is installed (for aesthetics and function)
Purpose: to obtain an accurate model of the jaw and not leave the patient without teeth while waiting
Implant placement (if it is an implant-supported prosthesis)
What it includes:
- Surgical placement of 1 or more implants
- 7–10 days of suture healing
- Waiting for healing 2–6 months (depending on the protocol)
Purpose: a reliable foundation for a fixed prosthesis (e.g., All-on-4)
Fitting of the frame/wax template
What is checked:
- Bite, tooth position, symmetry
- Comfort, fixation
- Appearance and aesthetics of the future work
Purpose: to agree on the shape and position of the teeth before final fabrication
Fabrication and installation of a permanent prosthesis
What happens:
- A permanent prosthesis is manufactured based on all impressions and adjustments
- The dentist tries it on and makes adjustments if necessary
- Final fixation is performed (cement, screw attachment, or clasps)
Purpose: restoration of chewing function, speech, and aesthetics
Care instructions and follow-up
What it includes:
- Hygiene training (especially important for removable or implant-supported dentures)
- Scheduling follow-up appointments (after 1 week, 1 month, 6 months)
- Correction if necessary
Purpose: to extend the service life of the structure and prevent complications
The exact list of steps and their content may vary depending on the type of prosthesis being installed.
