Turnkey dental implantation: reliable and comfortable smile restoration

Turnkey implantation refers to a complete set of dental procedures for diagnosis, preparation for implantation, the implantation itself, and subsequent prosthetics of the tooth (teeth) on the engrafted artificial root (implant).

An important advantage of this approach to implantation is the ability to plan the number and timing of visits to the clinic in advance, as well as to clarify the cost of each stage of treatment before it begins.

In addition, this type of organization of the treatment process allows for the coordination of the work of all specialists involved (hygienist, dentist, surgeon, orthopedist). This guarantees the success of the treatment and ensures patient comfort for many decades to come.

By choosing turnkey implantation, you get a predictable treatment outcome within a pre-agreed timeframe and within a pre-determined budget.

The doctors at Club 32, a family dental clinic in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, have extensive experience in performing turnkey dental implants for patients of all ages. Our clinic has everything necessary to perform this procedure.

We offer an individual approach to each patient, creating a treatment plan that fully corresponds to your clinical situation and wishes. This allows us to achieve maximum comfort during treatment and long-lasting results.

When is turnkey dental implantation necessary?

Turnkey dental implantation is more a form of organizing the treatment process than a separate dental technology. Therefore, it is indicated in the same situations as conventional implantation.

Here is a list of them:

  • complete or partial absence of teeth
  • loss of teeth as a result of trauma, disease, or age-related changes
  • destroyed teeth that cannot be restored
  • discomfort when wearing removable dentures

The only significant difference in this type of implantation is the high level of coordination between all specialists involved and the maximum level of comfort for the patient during treatment.

Consequences of refusing implantation or delaying it

The absence of teeth negatively affects not only appearance, but also overall health. Due to impaired chewing function, digestive problems arise, and adjacent teeth shift over time, leading to deformation of the dentition. This is because the absence of even one tooth inevitably increases the load on its neighbors. This often results in pathological changes in the bite and premature wear of the remaining teeth.

Implant placement allows you to maintain the correct distribution of load, restore the chewing function of the jaw and the aesthetics of the smile, as well as prevent the development of further complications.

Problems with diction, speech clarity, and self-confidence are another negative consequence of tooth loss. Many people are embarrassed by the absence of front teeth, become withdrawn, avoid communication, and refrain from smiling.

And a disruption or complete lack of social contact is a direct path to clinical depression. Restoring the dentition in the smile zone with implants and subsequent prosthetics solves this problem.

After implantation, along with full functionality of the teeth, the patient regains self-confidence. Normalization of social communication is a natural consequence of this.

Turnkey dental implantation is not just the restoration of lost teeth, but a comprehensive solution aimed at improving the patient's health and quality of life.

It is important to remember that prolonged absence of teeth leads to gradual atrophy of bone tissue in the place where the tooth roots were previously located. This complicates prosthetics and increases its cost, since for reliable fixation of the implant, it is necessary to build up the bone using bone grafting (sinus lifting).

This entails additional costs, longer treatment times, and more visits to the clinic. Therefore, it is important not to delay implantation and to consult a specialist in a timely manner.

If you want to get rid of problems associated with tooth loss for good, welcome to Club 32. We guarantee a high level of service, a professional approach, and long-lasting results.

Stages of turnkey dental implantation

Initial consultation and diagnosis

Before starting treatment, the doctor examines the oral cavity and prescribes a CT scan or X-ray examination. This is necessary for accurate treatment planning and assessment of bone tissue condition. The cost of turnkey dental implantation is also calculated at this stage.

Preparatory stage

Before installing implants, it may be necessary to remove damaged teeth, treat the gums, perform bone grafting, or perform a sinus lift. These procedures are necessary to create a reliable foundation for the implants.

There are cases when it is simply impossible to install a turnkey dental implant without bone augmentation. Such situations are especially common when implanting teeth in the upper jaw.

Implant placement

This is the main part of the turnkey dental implant procedure. It is performed under local anesthesia and takes from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the number of implants being placed.

Osseointegration (implant healing)

After the implants are placed, the process of fusion with the bone begins, which lasts from 3 to 6 months. During this time, the patient can use temporary prostheses to maintain the aesthetics of their smile and the ability to chew.

Installation of a gum former

When a person's own teeth erupt, the gums naturally "envelop" them around the entire perimeter, preventing infection and food debris from entering.

In implantation, a gum former is used to achieve the same effect. This is a temporary element that is screwed into the implant so that it rises slightly above the gum.

Usually, gum formation is complete within 2–4 weeks.

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia. After the procedure, you may experience mild pain and bleeding, which is normal.

The duration of these symptoms varies from person to person, but if the pain persists after a week, you must contact us.

Abutment placement

After the gums have formed, the dentist replaces the gum former with an abutment, which is a connecting element to which the permanent prosthesis (crown) is attached.

Abutments for dental implants are made from several types of materials, each of which has its own characteristics, advantages, and areas of application.

Titanium (pure or with impurities)

Advantages:

  • High strength and durability
  • Biocompatibility – does not cause rejection
  • Good bone integration (osseointegration)
  • Can be used for deep implant placement

Disadvantages:

  • The gray color may show through thin gums, creating an unaesthetic appearance

Application:

  • For all types of prosthetics (crowns, bridges, removable dentures)
  • Particularly suitable for the chewing area, where strength is important

Zirconium dioxide

Advantages:

  • Highly aesthetic – the color is as close as possible to natural teeth
  • Hypoallergenic and biocompatible material
  • Resistant to plaque formation and staining

Disadvantages:

  • Less durable than titanium, may break under high stress
  • More expensive than titanium counterparts

Application:

  • For installation in the front area (smile zone)
  • When a natural appearance is important

Titanium (base) + zirconium (upper part)

Advantages:

  • Combines the strength of titanium with the aesthetics of zirconium
  • Durability and resistance to stress

Disadvantages:

  • More expensive than conventional titanium abutments

Application:

  • For aesthetic areas with increased stress (e.g., front chewing teeth)

Prosthesis (crown) installation

The final price of a turnkey implant largely depends on the choice of material from which the crown will be made. This can be:

  • Metal-ceramic
  • Ceramic composite
  • Zirconium dioxide (metal-free ceramic)

At Club 32, we prefer to make removable prostheses. To do this, the crown is glued to the abutment in the laboratory, and in the clinic, the finished structure is screwed onto the implant and then sealed.

Advantages of this technology:

  • Allows the crown to be easily unscrewed and the implant to be "serviced."
  • If the crown breaks for non-dental reasons, it can be replaced without losing the implant
