Zirconium is processed using CAD/CAM technologies: first, a 3D model of the tooth is created, then the product is milled from a monolith on a milling machine
- Pressed ceramics (E.max) — used to make veneers, inlays, and single crowns in the front teeth area. It has excellent transparency and light transmission, making it ideal for aesthetic restorations
- Feldspar ceramics — fragile but very aesthetic. Used in restorations with minimal load — for example, in the manufacture of veneers

Types of metal-free dental prosthetics
Ceramic crowns
Single ceramic prostheses made of zirconium dioxide or pressed ceramic are used to restore damaged teeth. Zirconium crowns are more often installed on chewing teeth due to their high strength, while pressed ceramic is suitable for the front area — it imitates natural enamel as closely as possible.
Metal-free bridge prostheses
These are used when one or more teeth are missing. The frame is made of zirconium, and a ceramic coating is applied on top. Such bridges are durable, resistant to stress, and do not cause darkening of the gums, unlike metal-ceramic bridges.
Ceramic veneers
Thin overlays fixed to the front surface of the teeth. They are used for discoloration of the enamel, chips, gaps, and minor misalignments. They are made of pressed ceramic (E.max) and provide excellent aesthetics.
Ceramic inlays and onlays
An alternative to fillings for significant tooth decay. They have a precise anatomical shape, are stronger than photopolymers, and retain their functionality longer.
Metal-free prosthetics on implants
Prostheses are fixed on zirconium abutments, which eliminates contact between metal and the gums. The design preserves a natural appearance, which is especially important in the frontal area.
Indications for installing a ceramic crown:
- Significant destruction of the crown part of the tooth

Contraindications for metal-free crowns
Despite the high biocompatibility and reliability of ceramic crowns, there are still contraindications to their installation:
- pronounced bite pathologies;
- acute inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity;
- insufficient volume of hard tissue for fixing the structure;
- habit of biting hard objects (e.g., nuts);
- age under 18 (in case of incomplete formation of the dentofacial system)
How ceramic dental prosthetics are performed at Club 32

- Diagnosis and planning:
- Examination of the oral cavity, identification of problems (caries, inflammation), X-ray diagnostics, and treatment plan development

- Creation of an impression or digital model of the dentition
- Temporary crown placement:
- A temporary crown can be placed on the prepared tooth for protection while the permanent crown is being made
- Crown fabrication:
- A metal-free crown is manufactured in a dental laboratory using CAD/CAM technology based on the impression or digital model
- Fitting and fixing:
- The finished metal-free crown is fitted, and the fit and bite are checked. It is then fixed in place with special cement
